WHO IS IT FOR?

The course is aimed at workers who require the knowledge and skills to locate underground services correctly before excavation work commences including groundworkers, fencing operatives, plumbers and electricians.

 WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

On successful completion the candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• A knowledge of the law applicable to buried services
• The hazards likely to be encountered in in excavation around utility services
• The control measures required to reduce the risks of cable / service strikes
• The correct use of CAT & Genny equipment
